It happened at the Santander Bank at 115 Chester Avenue on Tuesday, July 18, authorities said in a release.
The suspect walked in around 2:20 p.m. and handed a note to a teller demanding cash, investigators believe. When the teller "delayed," the man walked out without a dime, according to police.
He was described as wearing a red baseball cap and a red shirt with black sleeves. Anyone who can identify him is asked to call Yeadon Borough Police Department at 610-623-1500 or submit an anonymous tip through the Delaware County Crime Watch webpage.
